Barolo is considered the king of wines. This is due to the uniqueness of the grapes: they require a long period of maturation that extends until late November. It is a red Docg produced from Nebbiolo grapes and must age for at least 3 years, of which at least 18 months in oak barrels. After 5 years of aging, it becomes Barolo Riserva. It is born in the Langhe (from "Langues" = tongues of land), in a lively landscape shaped by the changing of seasons. The Nebbiolo has been cultivated in the Barolo area for time immemorial, but it was thanks to Camillo Benso Conte di Cavour that, in the mid-19th century, an exceptionally rich and harmonious wine was produced, destined to become the ambassador of Piedmont of the Savoy in the courts of all Europe.

The White Truffle of Alba is by far the most prized variety of truffle, both from a gastronomic and economic point of view. In fact, due to its extremely high cost, it is considered the most precious of diamonds. Its aroma is distinctive, much more aromatic than that of other truffles, gaseous, with hints of garlic, cheese, honey, and mushroom. The flavor can be slightly spicy, vaguely reminiscent of grana cheese. It develops spontaneously in symbiosis with the roots of specific plants, including oak, chestnut, poplar, lime, hazelnut, hornbeam, and white willow. The White Truffle of Alba was obviously highly appreciated by the entire Piedmontese court and the political world of that time.
